Markaz al-Lughah al-Arabiyyah is one of the most important academic stages of the Jamia. The primary objective of this department is to familiarize students with the Arabic language and to develop the four fundamental language skills: reading, writing, listening with comprehension, and speaking. Through a structured and systematic approach, students are enabled to acquire proficiency in reading, writing, and fluent communication in Arabic.

Basic Admission Requirements
• The minimum age of the student must be 12 years.
• The student should be a Hafiz of the Qur’an and have passed the primary level.
• If the student is not a Hafiz, he must have passed the middle school examination with distinction.

Duration of Study and Curriculum
The academic duration of Markaz al-Lughah al-Arabiyyah spans two years:
First Year:
• Elementary Arabic grammar
• Selected Ahadith of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
• Arabic reading and writing (Qirā’ah and Kitābah)
• Basic Arabic conversation
• Memorization and practice of daily Masnoon supplications
Second Year:
• Advanced Arabic conversation and grammar
• Introductory Fiqh
• Explanation and interpretation of Qur’anic verses related to ethics and morals
• Islamic creed (ʿAqīdah Islāmiyyah)
• Understanding and facilitation of Imam Nawawi’s (رحمہ اللہ) renowned book Al-Arbaʿīn an-Nawawiyyah ((اربعین النووی
• Other Arabic sciences and disciplines

Special Class of Markaz al-Lughah al-Arabiyyah
This special class has been introduced for students of Matriculation and Intermediate (along with Hifz). In this program, the regular two-year syllabus of the Markaz is condensed and completed within one year.
Admission Requirements for the Special Class:
• Intermediate qualification
• Matriculation (Science) along with Hifz of the Qur’an
• Passing the Thanawiyah ‘Aammah examination of Wifaq al-Madaris as-Salafiyyah with distinction
Curriculum of the Special Class: In this special program, students are taught the following subjects:
• Hadith
• Fiqh
• Tafseer
• Arabic grammar
• Arabic writing skills and principles of spelling (Usul al-Imla’)
• Various Arabic sciences and disciplines
